The Citizen Science Association exists to transform scientific research and learning, broaden participation in science, and address the social-scientific challenges that demand the scale of collaboration that is only possible through citizen science. We support, serve, and connect the individuals, organizations, and communities who are designing, leading, managing, researching, and creating innovative citizen science projects in all disciplines. Past conferences have drawn almost 700 attendees from 28 countries, together reaching reach millions of participants around the globe. Our attendees include scientists, formal and informal science educators, resource managers, program practitioners, learning researchers, conservationists, university professors and students, policymakers, volunteer citizen scientists, and more! Over 700 individuals from agencies, non-governmental organizations, universities, public and private institutions, and others are coming together to advance ideas and innovations that will set the direction for work in this field. This is a great opportunity to get exposure to this large and unique community with diverse interests and strong purchasing power. Don’t miss this chance to reach this audience and be recognized across this rapidly growing field!

Citizen science is revolutionizing science, leading to new discoveries and research outcomes and engaging ordinary citizens in new ways. Large-scale projects help us understand never-before-seen global trends by engaging tens of thousands of observers, while online projects invite the public to process images, dramatically accelerating the pace of research. Communities are leveraging the tools of science, or even fabricating their own tools, to confront environment problems with low-cost sensors and defensible data. With access to the scientific enterprise, participants of all ages can pool observations, hone critical thinking, create new understandings, and build the technical skills needed to help their communities thrive.

The CitSci2019 Conference offers you the opportunity to make face-to-face CONNECTIONS with leaders in areas of science, policy, conservation, science education and practice. You’ll have ACCESS to people who need your products and services and the EXPOSURE will reinforce your brand awareness and maximize visibility in the field of citizen science.  Get your name in front of 700+ conference attendees, and 5000+ more individuals and organizations who receive communications about the Citizen Science Association Conference!
